MERCH/ PRINT PROJECT

In the Design & Responsibility course, ethical and socio-critical issues are elaborated and questioned within a free design project. The aim of the lecture is to generate new conditions through the examination of the dimensions of ethics, which in turn should inspire new designs. Through an active exchange of ideas, existing designs are to be questioned in terms of design responsibility. With my project I want to "upcycling" as a designer in my responsibility from second hand clothes with my own design prints, which offer current issues in our society today for enlightenment. The t-shirts/ shirts or polos are bought from second hand stores in the area Karlsruhe/ Pforzheim, washed and then printed. The profit (approx. 1/2 of the sales price) will be donated to an Organization for the support of women and children in Nepal.
